I work directly in the LGA's CMS on local.gov.uk, producing and scheduling 365 bulletins a year, and making sure every page meets W3C accessibility standards, not an afterthought, but built into the process from the start.
Step Ahead
A national campaign helping councils support young people leaving care into independent life.
Leaving care and living independently for the first time is a steep learning curve for anyone, budgeting, cooking, keeping on top of bills, and far harder without a family safety net to fall back on. Step Ahead shares the practical ways councils are stepping into that gap.

Beyond Step Ahead, I've worked on numerous campaigns for national voices across local government, many centred on the awareness days councils and civil service bodies mark throughout the year.

Concept to publish, camera to caption.
I run the whole production: organising and scheduling guests, writing interview questions, and reviewing recordings. I'm currently learning to edit audio and video too, and keen to take on more of that side. I also film using a Canon DSLR, and I'm the go-to photographer for senior civil servants at events.

Episode 2: adult social care reform, digital inclusion, and AI in local government, featuring Jason Kitcat.

I film and photograph all of my video work myself, across both long and short-form case studies. It's a growing part of what I do, and an area I'm actively expanding.

I filmed LGA Senior Vice-Chairman Cllr Kevin Bentley outside Parliament, delivering the LGA's response to the Budget, on the day it was announced, warning that funding hadn't kept pace with what councils actually need.
